The "Buddy Luv's
Error-Free Order Processing System"
STEP 1: Your Estimate
Purchasing
a trailer at Buddy Luv's begins with your estimate. After an intital
consultation, either by phone or e-mail, we will send you a preliminary
estimate to your e-mail inbox for you to review. This estimate lists
each option, with its individual cost, that you have requested for your
trailer. You may then, add or remove options at your discretion. We
will then prepare a revised estimate and send it shortly afterwards.
You may stay on the phone with us to review it with you if you wish.
Once the estimate is correct, you may sign at the bottom stating you
approve the design and mail it in with your security deposit. This
ensures your trailer is built to your exact specifications and greatly
reduces the chance for error.

We'll handle the rest!! | | STEP 2: Factory Build Sheet Submission
Once
we have your signed estimate, we make any changes that you may have
hand written in and turn it into a "Factory Build Sheet."
This form is submitted to the factory via e-mail on the same day your
signed estimate is received. You are sent an invoice listing the final
options you have selected, the expected completion date, and your
remaining balance that is due at pick-up. Production, in most
cases, is usually scheduled for the following week.
*Changes to your trailer may still be made at this time..
| | STEP 3: Hard Card Review
Once
your trailer is scheduled for production, it is given its unique VIN#
and a "Hard Card." Hard Cards are documents the factory uses for
production in the plant. This heavy, cardboard document will follow
your trailer from the weld shop all the way to final inspection. We
have our manufacturers send us copies of the hard cards for us to
review. This ensures no errors were made when the order was entered at
the factory and ensures your trailer is built accordingly. You are sent
an email at this time with an updated invoice, stating your trailers
unique VIN# and its expected completion date. Completion of your
trailer can be expected within 1 - 2 weeks from this point.
*Structural modifications cannot be made at this time, although some options can still be added. | | STEP 4: Factory Inspection
After
your trailer is built and all options are installed, it is inspected by
the factory for any defects or problems. Your trailer will be checked
for leaks, wiring problems, light problems, & proper undercoating
will be insured. All doors, windows, plumbing (if applicable), and
other options will be checked for proper operation &
installation. If everything checks out, the official NATM compliant
decals are applied and your trailer is ready for the next and final
step. | | STEP 5: Final Inspection & Photos

Before pick-up is arranged, we make a personal trip to the manufacturer
so we can inspect it for ourselves. We pay close attention to
everything; making sure your trailer is exactly how you ordered it and
there are no defects. We check for proper cosmetics simply because we
want you to look good driving down the road. At this time, we take photos of your trailer and send them to your e-mail inbox, letting you know it has been completed. You may then schedule a factory pick-up or opt to have your trailer delivered by one of our professional drivers. | |
